Expert Center, a company based in Nizhny Novgorod, has recently installed the top-tier Mimaki UCJV330 UV print-and-cutter. The organization specializes in industrial safety expertise for buildings, structures, and equipment at hazardous production facilities, serving sectors such as gas supply, energy, automotive, metallurgy, chemistry, and oil refining.

The Mimaki UCJV330-160, with a working width of 1.61m, is equipped with dual print heads offering resolutions up to 1200 dpi. It operates using Mimaki LUS-175 (CMYK + W) original UV inks and Artix UV Plus LUS-170 alternative UV varnish. The original inks and alternative varnish demonstrate excellent compatibility, ensuring prints are durable and resistant to mechanical wear, chemical exposure, water, and UV radiation.

Previously, to produce various plans and diagrams, the company outsourced solvent printing on transparent self-adhesive film, which was then applied to photoluminescent film and subsequently mounted onto plastic. This multi-step process was labor-intensive. With the acquisition of the Mimaki UCJV330 series, the production of technical graphics will be simplified and accelerated through direct printing on luminescent materials.
