A desktop version of the Mimaki CG-60AR cutting plotter has commenced operations at the Azimut garment factory in Novosibirsk. This enterprise is one of the largest manufacturers of gear for hunting, fishing, and outdoor activities. Its product range includes suits, trousers, jackets, and vests of various designs, colors, insulation levels, and protection types.

The Mimaki CG-60AR cutter, featuring a cutting width of 606 mm, is equipped with swivel blades offering a downforce of up to 550 gf and a pen holder. It cuts films of various thicknesses at speeds up to 73 cm/s.

A specialist from the factory commented on the new equipment: "We purchased the cutting plotter to cut lettering and logos from heat transfer vinyl, which we then apply to our garments. Previously, we outsourced the production of heat transfers, which was inconvenient for many reasons. The plotter performed excellently on the test tasks, including intricate layouts. We didn't even expect such high cutting quality! We hope the new equipment will help speed up our workflows, simplify our tasks, and significantly reduce associated financial expenses.
